What the heck?

grrrr. This google blog thing is annoying me! I"m okay with switching accounts, but it wouldn't switch my blog over, and now I have to redo my about section. what a pain. I hate having to redo things I already had just the way I liked it! *sigh*


On another WTF note, we aren't going to Havana anymore. our booking got scooped before we had actually gotten it booked apparently. Which sucks. Now we have no idea where we are going. and we were suppost to leave two weeks from now! I was getting edgy about not having details for Hawaii at the end of march! I like to know what I am doing! I need to book a doctors appointment, and next months days off work, and get my sister to come over for a weekend! but I can't do any of that until we find out when/where/if we have a holiday. On the other hand, it is being paid for by someone else who is arranging it, so I am not gonna complain to loudly and am very greatful to be going anywhere she wants to send us (mostly). but I am gonna sit here and fret that I don't know what I am doing for the next month sometime.

Well, thats it for now. the only other thing going on is exams, but I don't really feel like talking about those! :-p

Holiday in Havana

Okay, so the airline we were booked on for our trip to Hawaii is "reorganizing". meaning our tickets where refunded. and everyone is booked full to compinsate. So no Hawaii for us! However, the lady who was sending us got us 10 days at a 5 star resort in Havana instead. While Cuba is not in my top ten list of places to visit, I can definately handle a nice resort anywhere they wanna send me! :-)

Its all inclusive, meals, activities, pool, dance lessons, snorkling, the whole 9 yards. I"m excited. should be much fun! course that means that I have to go shopping and get carribean appropriate clothing. and clothes good enough for the dress code in the resteraunt.

Anyway, back to work still got 3 weeks until holiday time!!

And the Best Husband Ever Award goes too........

My Man is on a roll. Its been almost a year since the wedding, and he is getting sweeter now then he was then. Its all in the little things. I"m making a list of Gord is awesome. True is not roses and chocolates and poetry. but is IS the important things.

1: He listens. AND acts!
4 days ago, I mentioned wanting to make cinnimon buns, but that I didn't have the time. yesterday, he comes home from visiting his parents, store bought cinnimon buns in hand. 3days later! clever man.

2: I don't have to ask.
I"ve just had a long day writing a paper. for the last 8 hours. my shoulders and neck hurt. suddenly, he comes into the room and places a heated stress pad around my shoulders. mmmmm.

3: Kisses, LOTS of kisses.
at random intervals. usually just when I am getting frustrated with this paper.

4: He is interested
He occationally asks me how things are going, how far I am, and if I am okay. always nice.

5: Random neck massage
no complaints here!

6: He knows when to just go away!
despite the fact that I am in his usual room of entertainment, he has more or less left me alone. gotta admit, I tend to be destracted when he is in the room, especially when he is playing a game or watching a show behind me. apparently he knows that. Good boy.

7: Cooking.
I just got called to dinner. that I didn't make or mention anything about. Yay for him!

and I am gonna go eat!!

WTF?

well. I apparently like to blog at the end of semesters. cuz its 4 months later and here I go again!

So today I walk all the way over to the school, JUST to find that the interesting class that I went to, which is the only reason I left the house today, is cancelled. gr. well, I am SO not going to my afternoon class. I know what is gonna happen in that one. a silly quiz which is worth 1% and for which I have not read the material. cuz its confusing and complicated. and a REALLY boring video about the authors scandalous life. My teacher doesn't actually like to teach. He either makes us do groupwork all class, present "seminars" to each other, or watch movies. I can't believe I spent 500$ to sit around and be confused with 28 other students. *sigh*

oh well. I got 2 weeks. then a couple more, and THEN I am going to Hawaii! YAY! and its going to be our first anniversary. oddly enough, the trip and the anniversary coinsiding is purely coincedental. kind of. the wedding was planned for after my exams. as is the trip. either way it works out. We will be in Hawaii for a week, and someone else is paying for it! I like Gord's co-workers. Some of them are very generous :-)

Anyway, I should get back to it. I have stuff due and a very busy day tommorrow in which I will be not doing as much homework as nessicary. But its my birthday, so I don't care :-p

TV Shows

I"m SO close to being done for the semester! one paper and a handful of exams. Of course, I then get 2 weeks off and get to start all over again! this is a dumb system! of my own choosing. :-)

I'm watching Jericho. Its an interesting show, about a small town that survived a big nuke attack and have no idea what happened and are completely isolated. But doesn't seem to be goin anywhere. Its interesting, but they are starting to write themselves into a melodrama-type corner and the main storyline is weak.

Heroes is much better. I LOVE that show. The characters are interesting, and the story is shaping up to be very cool. There is enough mystery in it to keep you interested, but they don't keep you in the dark forever like they do in Lost. And I think my Husband is becoming obsessed with it. its too cute!

Anyway, I should get back to doing my last paper.
